Luke 24:13-17
“Now that same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem. They were talking with each other about everything that had happened. As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them, but they were kept from recognizing him. He asked them, ‘What are you discussing together as you walk along?’”

Proverbs 4:11-12
“I will guide you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble.”
Gentle Guide, you are the destination we long to find.
You chart our route and pause to match our hesitant pace. The mysteries of your way you reveal on the road we walk by faith, not by sight.
Come close and enter into divine dialogue with us, causing us to question our own understanding and open ourselves up to your direction. Keep us travelling with you as our caring companion.
In the name of Jesus Christ we ask for your favour, who journeyed the highways of this world to show us the path to eternal life.
