Matchless God, how can we quantify the value of knowing you?

You provide us with identity, ultimate security, beauty and redemption, and the trinkets of this world cannot compare with the treasure of your kingdom.

Help us look beyond the world that dazzles us with the facade of fulfillment.  Give us a desire for the everlasting wealth found only in following you; the precious pearl of life in your promised land.

This we ask in the name of our incomparable Saviour Jesus, who joyfully bought us at the price of forsaking all the riches of heaven.
